People looking for non stop partying, hedonism and excitement tend to choose Ibiza holidays. Ibiza is an island in the Mediterranean Sea which has, in the past 30 years or so, become the undisputed party capital of the world. Each year, millions of sun and fun seekers flock there to bask in the sun on the beach all day and party the night away in some of the world’s best clubs.
There are so many different clubs that you can enjoy on Ibiza holidays that you might have a hard time getting around them all. Some of the most celebrated are Privilege (which is the world’s largest nightclub), Space (specifically for after parties), Pacha (a trendy franchise club with a worldwide brand of its own), and Es Paradis (famous for its water parties). Add to this Ibiza’s multitude of smaller clubs, bars and nightspots, and it’s not difficult to see why the island is considered the party capital of the world.
Ibiza holidays call for you to be prepared for a much faster pace of life at night. Daytime on the White Isle is a little more laid back. The preferred activities are sunbathing on the beach or strolling around beautiful Ibiza Town. As you would expect it is after nightfall is that the island really comes to life and with this in mind Ibiza is not really a good destination if you are looking for a holiday that is quiet and quite subdued.
Ibiza accommodation ranges from cheap hotels to mid-range self catering apartments to 5* hotels. However the majority of young people who go to the island to enjoy Ibiza holidays tend to stay in the more cheaper apartments as they spend a lot of time out on the town. Holidaying couples can find some gorgeous hotels and villas a little out of Ibiza Town, ideal for those wanting to stay close enough to the action but far enough away to be able to relax.
If you are going to Ibiza to take advantage of the party scene you need to be aware that every club apart from Pacha closes after September. They reopen again in June when the party season starts. So if you have booked yourselves on to one of the Ibiza Holidays that falls outside of June to September you need to be prepared for closed down clubs and very few tourists. It’s worth noting that outside of these months the weather can be somewhat erratic, so you might find you didn’t need to pack your suntan lotion.
So if you’re looking for a party this summer, a holiday in Ibiza might be just the ticket. Just remember that prices can be high and you will need plenty of spending money to get into some of the world famous clubs on the island.
